600 Million USD for Ciputra World

PT Ciputra Property, Tbk invested 600 million USD (6 trillion IDR) to built Ciputra World Jakarta (CWJ) in Jalan Prof. Dr. Satrio, Jakarta; to be precise, they are 300 million USD for Block 3 -5, 90 million USD for Block 6, and 200 million USD for Block 11.

Ciputra World Jakarta will be the new icon of Jakarta, built to fulfill the urban need of luxurious shopping and cozy living in the heart of the city.

The project is situated in the area of 11 hectare in Jakarta’s Golden Triangle”, Jalan Prof Dr. Satrio, Jalan Sudiman, and Jalan Rasuna Said (Kuningan). In this superblock there will be 558,000 m2 total building’s floor area; it consists of Shopping Mall of 130,000 m2 wide, 5-star hotel with 200 rooms, office tower of 60,000 m2 wide, a leased apartment of 170 units, a strata title apartment of 136 units, and premium apartment of 80 units. This will be the biggest superblock in Jakarta.

In the first phase, Ciputra Property has been building 6 shopping mall, 1 apartment tower, 1 office tower, and 5-storey-parking building. The contractor, ACSET – who just completed Pacific Place in CBD, Sudirman – has commenced working in the end of 2007 and to be finish in 2010. The second phase, building block 6 in area of 1.4 hectare is to start in august 2008. The third phase, building block 11 in the area of 3 hectare is to build in 2010.

Director of PT Ciputra Property, Artadinata Djangkar, said Ciputra plan to issue obligation for this project.
